You would never have guessed....
Some things you would probably never have guessed about Carolyn:
- She speaks German and can speak some French too, as well as being able to ‘get the gist' of several other European languages including Dutch
- She lived and worked in Germany for a year as a teacher and trainer
- She, get this, holds a reindeer driving licence - completely genuine - gained on an adventure trip into the Arctic Circle
- She used to be lead singer in two bands
- She has parachuted on more than one occasion - solo jumps - not tandem
- She loves the music of Queen (although you may guess this if you ever talk to her about music!)
- She has fulfilled a long ambition to go white water rafting on the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon
- She used to be a 100 metre runner, and competed at county level
- She loves horse riding and one of her most memorable outings was riding on her own in the autumn sunshine around the reservoir in Central Park, New York
- She can't hold her drink - a really cheap night out!
